Library

 The library of the School (both lending library and reading-room) is located in the building of the Humanistic Institute.

The book collection, since the beginning of the library, has been systematically expanded. The profile of on-and-on gathered books remains in accordance with both current and future fields of studies run in the State Higher School of Vocational Education in Zamość.

An important element of activity of the library, especially in the context of educating students in the range of philology and political science, was subscribing current specialist magazines, including English-language ones.

The library of the State Higher School of Vocational Education in Zamość uses the library programme LIBRA 2000, which enables creation of an electronic catalogue of the library available both in the library itself while using computers for readers and on-line via the website of the School.

In the reading-room there are computer stations with the access to the Internet. Using the computers is free and quite popular among students.

On the website www.pwszzamosc.pl there is a link to the site of the library, which became one of the main sources of information about the books and functioning of the institution. On the website one can find, among others, an electronic guide around the library as well as links to other library institutions in Zamość and the region.
The library of the School tries to come to expectations of the users – community of the School. We are continually gathering books, magazines as well as multimedia collections.
